My good friend James Fowler started one of the best mountain festivals in the West, the Sawooth Valley Gathering. It’s a gathering of friends, fiddles and foot tapping and it’s become a yearly tradition, let alone one of my favorite festivals to-date! Mark your calendars for July in Stanley!
My alarm clock was a boat engine today and it was the best alarm I’ve ever heard. Woke up in heaven, lakeside and tent-side of some good friends. My favorite mountain range (the Boulders) leads straight to the perfect alpine lakes, Titus and Redfish.
